Daily Cleaning
Like any other type of urinal, the uridan® water-free urinal should be cleaned daily.
Cleaning a uridan® water-free urinal is quick and easy because the unique design means there are no inner edges where urine can collect.
The use of detergents is not necessary, simply spray uriclean® onto the urinal and wipe clean with a disposable towel.

Maintenance
The urilock® blocking fluid lasts for between 5000 and 7000 uses and while it remains in place there will be no smell from the urinal. The number of times the urilock® blocking fluid is changed will depend upon usage. Some organisations will change it once or twice a year, others more frequently.
The urilock® blocking fluid is biodegradable and needs replacing when it appears through the stainless steel waste cover.
At no time will the person replacing the blocking fluid come in contact with urine. Because there are no cartridges or parts to replace, the process is quick and easy.
